



Thomas Bangalter (born 3 January 1975)[1] is a French electronic musician and founding member (along with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo) of the French house music duo Daft Punk. He has also produced music for the band Stardust, as a membasdasdasdasdasder of the band Together, and for the film Irréversible. His music is sometimes known as French house.
Thomas Bangalter owns a music label called Roulé. Outside of music production, his credits include film director and cinematographer. Bangalter resides in Beverly Hills, California, with his wife, French actress Élodie Bouchez, and his son, Tara-Jay.[2][3]
Daft Punk is a duo consisting of Paris musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (born February 8, 1974)[1] and Thomas Bangalter (born January 3, 1975).[1] The duo is considered one of the most successful electronic music collaborations of all time, both in album sales and in critical acclaim.[2] After Daft Punk reached significant popularity in the late 1990s house movement in France, other artists such as Air, Cassius and Dimitri from Paris began to receive a similar amount of attention.[3]
Daft Punk is also credited with producing songs that were considered essential in the French house scene. They are currently managed by Pedro Winter (Busy P), the head of Ed Banger Records
Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (born Guillaume Emmanuel Paul de Homem-Christo on February 8, 1974)[1] is a founding member of the French house music duo Daft Punk, along with Thomas Bangalter.The pair met when they were in school together in 1987 and becameinterested in dance music after going to a club in 1992. DeHomem-Christo is also a co-founder of the group Le Knight Club. Theband was formed by he and Éric Chedeville, the latter of whom is fromPumpking Records. They are also the founders of the Crydamoure record label. De Homem-Christo is credited for designing the Daft Punk logo in the liner notes of Homework.
He produced Sébastien Tellier's 2008 album titled Sexuality.[2]
